Do you think the American Tesol Institute placement program is a scam?

I found the program on Tefl.com and applied with my certificates and pport scans attached. They wrote back the next day congratulating me on getting on the program and inviting me to Bangkok. The English in the email wasnt great, they don't require an interview, they want $200 upfront for admin fees and the payment website isn't secure. Anyone know anything about this company? Sounds like a scam doesn't it?
