Is this a good computer? I think I want it!?

In my opinion, Dells are never worth it. They're cheap for a reason. A Dell could possibly be a good choice for just your mom, but if you want a good machine for your uses, I'd go with a Mac. Viruses for Macs are virtually non-existent, and after 4 years of owning mine, it has never crashed. Macs are also one of the best out there for digital editing, and come with quality software already installed. After using a PC for 16 years, I switched to Mac and I'll never go back!
